Autoren-Porträt
Richard Molloy is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow. His initial surgical training was in Cork, Ireland before travelling to Boston to undertake research at the Brigham and Women's hospital and Harvard University towards his MD thesis. His further surgical training was in Scotland before working as a Colorectal Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio USA. He was appointed as a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon toGartnavel and the Western Infirmary Glasgow in 1997. His specialist interests are in minimally invasive colorectal surgery in addition to a keen interest in surgical education and research. He has served as Lead Clinician for the West of Scotland Colorectal Cancer Network. He was previously involved
in writing the Oxford Specialist Handbook of Colorectal Surgery and Landmark Papers in General Surgery.
Graham MacKay is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon and Honorary Associate Professor in the University Department of Surgery at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Mr MacKay trained predominantly in the West of Scotland supplemented by a Moynihan Travelling Fellowship to the Lahey Clinic, Boston and Cleveland Clinic, Ohio. His specialist interests are in minimally invasive colorectal surgery in addition to a keen interest in surgical education and research. Mr MacKay served as Director of Education at the
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers. He was previously involved in writing the Oxford Specialist Handbook of Colorectal Surgery and Landmark Papers in General Surgery.
Campbell S. D. Roxburgh is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow and Honorary Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2003 and trained predominantly in the West of Scotland. He completed his PhD and took up a clinical lecturer post at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in 2011. He passed the FRCS in 2014,

She graduated from Aberdeen University in 2004.She trained in Aberdeen and gained a national training number in the West of Scotland. She passed the FRCS in 2014, obtaining her CCT in Dec 2015. She is currently undertaking an international fellowship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, focusing on radical pelvic surgery for advanced rectal cancer.
