Autoren-Porträt von Bob Stone, Ofelia Grand, Debbie McGowan, Dawn Sister, Alexis Woods, A. M. Leibowitz, A Zukowski, Deven Balsam, Neptune Flowers, Paul Iasevoli
Deven Balsam is a single dad, resident DJ at Asheville North Carolina’s oldest running gay bar, and new author of sci fi, fantasy, and speculative fiction. He weaves a bit of romance, horror, and spirituality into everything he writes. Originally a Yankee from the New York metropolitan area, he currently lives on a mountain at the edge of 250 acres of Pisgah National Forest, and that suits him just fine.Neptune Flowers is a British author, best known for short stories and pub poetry.
Gay romance--sometimes with a sprinkle of romance, sometimes with a dash of horror, sometimes with a pinch of paranormal, and sometimes a mix of it all.
Ofelia Gränd is Swedish which often shines through in her stories. She likes to write about everyday people ending up in not-so-everyday situations, and hopefully also getting out of them. She writes contemporary and paranormal and dreams about one day writing a post-apocalyptic story--if that ever happens we'll see.
Her books are written for readers who want to take a break from their everyday life for an hour or two.
When Ofelia manages to tear herself from the screen and sneak away from husband and children she likes to take walks along the coastline and watch the sea. She's recently discovered the miracle of podcasts and spends her strolls listen to wise people talk.

Paul is a transplanted New Yorker who now lives on the Manatee River on the West Coast of Florida where he enjoys sunrises and sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. He holds a Master’s degree in Latin-American Literature. Writing has always been his passion. This work is dedicated to his late husband of thirty-four years—William J. Montagne.
A. M. Leibowitz is a spouse, parent, feminist, and book-lover falling somewhere on the Geek-Nerd Spectrum. She keeps warm through the long, cold western New York winters by writing romantic plot twists and happy-for-now endings.

an award-winning author of contemporary fiction that celebrates life, love and relationships in all their diversity. Since the publication in 2004 of her debut novel, Champagne—based on a stage show co-written and co-produced with her husband—she has published many further works—novels, short stories and novellas—including two ongoing series: Hiding Behind The Couch (a literary ‘soap opera’ centring on the lives of nine long-term friends) and Checking Him Out (LGBTQ romance). Debbie has been a finalist in both the Rainbow Awards and the Bisexual Book Awards, and in 2016, she won the Lambda Literary Award (Lammy) for her novel, When Skies Have Fallen: a British historical romance spanning twenty-three years, from the end of WWII to the decriminalisation of homosexuality in 1967. Through her independent publishing company, Debbie gives voices to other authors whose work would be deemed unprofitable by mainstream publishing houses.
Dawn is from the North East of England. Her life is spent juggling. The juggling balls are: children, husband, work (occasionally), voluntary work, professional knitting (notice she doesn't class this as work), and writing. When she has time she actually sleeps.
The whole point of writing for Dawn is just to get it all off her chest and out of her head. If she doesn't write it down then she ends up having long conversations with the characters out loud and her husband thinks she's crazy.
"I like chocolate, coffee and donuts, sometimes all at the same time. I love evenings around a campfire singing in the company of good friends. I like listening to the dawn chorus even if I've been awake all night. I like reading stories with characters that are filled with hope even in their darkest hours. I like happy endings."
Liverpool born Bob Stone is an author and bookshop owner. He has been writing for as long as he could hold a pen and some would say his handwriting has never improved. He is the author of two self-published children's books, A Bushy Tale and A Bushy Tale: The Brush Off. Missing Beat, the first in a trilogy for Young Adults, is his first full-length novel.
Bob still lives in Liverpool with his wife and cat and sees no reason to change any of that.
Always an avid reader and colorful dreamer, it was only a matter of time before taking pen to paper, oftentimes literally. Every story I write has a song or theme, sometimes both, that encompass them because I'm a firm believer in every song tells a story and every story has a song. I sing under my breath, tap my toes and swing my hips, much to the delight of my co-workers and friends. I freely admit that becoming a romance author is the best mid-life crisis a girl could ever have.
I'm an: Anachronist, Coffee Lover, Daughter/Dancer, Friend/Fighter, Jewish, Khazar, Lover/Leader, Mother/Medievalist, Novice/Nightowl, Opinionated, Pharmacist, Romantic/Reenactor, Sister/Scout, Traveler, Visionary, Wife/Writer
I am a London-based British writer who grew up in the gay village and red light district of Manchester.
I was trained in screenwriting at the University of the Arts London; National Film & Television School and Script Factory, UK. I have worked as a film journalist, written and produced short films.
