Within this third volume is the whole treatise, initially presented in two parts: "The Mystery of the True Vine" and "The Fruit of the Vine."
From the early days of Christianity, the vine has been a cornerstone of the church, as evidenced in the following: Of all the great individuals called to spread the gospel, few have reached the ability that C. Spurgeon and Andrew Murray had. In this series, we have assembled not only Murray's best works but also his most enduring, which are now classics in the Christian community. Andrew was one who wrote to interpret the Scriptures in such a way that Christians were free to believe and experience the grace of God. The obstacles to such lives included half-hearted surrender to God, a lack of confidence in the anointing of the Spirit, and a deep-rooted skepticism about the power of prayer. He believed that God had done everything necessary for people to live rich, productive, meaningful lives that participated in the life of God.
