The book reconstructs the paradigm of management, builds a theoretical system as disctinct from the dominant management process school today. It starts from a new definition of management, that is 'the willed action to work through other people', analyzes the essential features of subjects of managerial activities, and reveals step by step why it is possible to work through others, the humanitarian logic of its realization, the factors that can influence the management and their interrelations. Based on analysis of the stable relationship among different factors, the author summarizes the basic rules of management and implementation, and innovatively constructs a theoretical system of management of 10 axioms, each with a set of rules and a theorem. The axioms and the rules can all be falsified and the theorems can be derived from the axioms and rules. All the axioms, rules and theorems are extensions of the definition of management as 'the willed action to work through other people' and reveal the correlation between managerial activities and management objective. The axioms, rules and theorems are also closely interrelated, with rigorous logic and structure, describing the clues and rules ensuring the effect of management in the form of axiom systems. The book begins with diagrams, and continues with textual study after investigating the basic theories through diagrams. So each par has at least one diagram to directly illustrate the logical relationship. So only reading the diagram is enough to grasp the general content and logic of the book.
