I named him “Mister” to give him status and Icket because it is suitable for this cricket that has a personality of his own and uses his insect abilities to explore. At times he can be loud, but the loud noise can be fun and curious.

After staying in Honolulu, Hawaii for a few years, I now live in the south where I was raised. Also, I lived in Seattle Washington a period of time. It was my cross-country travels which helped me understand the importance of enjoying earth‛s beauty. The appreciation of the little creatures and their role in the ecosystem is where their personalities and characters for this story unfold. This is my first children‛s book, and I hope it will be enjoyed by all that read it.
