Ann is a few years from graduating, she has a wide and varied circle of friends, strong opinions and a method of self-preservation that has worked well for her over the years. However, everything changes one night when her friends rope her into an séance that she has absolutely no belief in. At the end of the night however, she must confront those beliefs and re-evaluate when she finds herself face to face with the ghost of a young man who claims she is the only one who can help him.

Ann has no choice but to help charming and observant Henry to find his way from earth to the place he is truly meant to be. Their journey together takes them through the worst moments of their life, their shared pain and common fears. And when they reach the end of their journey Ann realizes that perhaps she was the one who needed help all along.
