Tom Kayser is the president of the Texas League and member of the Society for American Baseball Research. He has worked as the assistant director of minor leagues as well as manager of several minor league teams throughout the country. At twenty-four he became one of the youngest managers in minor league history, and at twenty-seven one of the youngest owners of a minor league team. He is a graduate of Point Park College and lives in San Antonio, Texas.David King is creative director of Discovery Clinical Trials, a freelance writer and journalist from New Braunfels. Previously, he was a sports writer for the San Antonio Express News and an editor at Texas State University. He has collaborated on projects with the Texas Sports Hall of Fame and National Baseball Hall of Fame.
