Autoren-Porträt von Marie Yamashita
AUTHOR’S BIOGRAPHYMarie Yamashita is a 91 year old great grandmother and widow who lives in Molokai, Hawaii. Before retirement, she was a classroom teacher and a high school librarian, who served in the schools of Molokai for 32 years.
She has written two children’s stories as legacies for her four great grandchildren---the oldest is seven---with the hope that in reading them in later years, they will have something tangible to connect them to the little old lady they used to call G. G. (great grandma).
