No entanto, seus avós paternos são de origem açoreana. Licenciado em Estudos Bíblicos e Teologia (BA), Mestre em Administração Eclesiástica e Liderança (MA), ambos pelo Trinity Seminary em Newburgh, Indiana, EUA, possui o Grau de Doutor Honoris Causa em Ministério (D.Min.) pelo Centre For Contemporary Christianity do John Stott – The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity em Bangalore, India, é Doutorado em Filosofia e Apologética (Ph.D) pelo Trinity Seminary em Newburgh, Indiana, EUA, é Pós-doutorado em Filosofia pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal. Seus trabalhos inclui servir como pastor protestante de uma comunidade local, escritor, professor da Academia Sénior da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa (Lisboa/Estoril) e Investigador do Centro de Filosofia da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, Professor na Faculdade de Letras (UNIDAC) da Universidade de Lisboa (FLUL), Investigador no Instituto de Cristianismo Contemporâneo (CICMER) do Departamento de Ciências da Religião da Universidade Lusófona. É membro da Sociedade Portuguesa de Filosofia, membro do Movimiento Poetas Del Mundo, membro da Academia de Letras e Artes de Portugal, membro da Academia de Letras e Artes Lusófonas, membro da Academia Luminescência Brasileira e membro da Academia Poética Brasileira. Trabalhou na Índia, Nova Zelândia, Noruega e Brasil, o que proporcionou-lhe uma significativa experiência transcultural. Sua teologia é reformada e como poeta, possui o estilo melancólico, considera-se um humanista caracterizado pela ideia de que o homem só atinge a sua verdadeira essência através do conhecimento de Deus. Luis Alexandre Ribeiro Branco, D.Min., PhD, is a Portuguese-Brazilian citizen, married since 2001 and father of two beautiful girls. Born in the city of Petrópolis, RJ, Brazil, in January of 1974. However, his paternal grandparents are of Azorean origin. Bachelor in Biblical Studies and Theology (BA), Master in Ecclesiastical Management and Leadership (MA), both at Trinity Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana, USA, holds the Doctorate Honoris Causa in Ministry (D.Min.) by the Center For Contemporary Christianity, from John Stott – The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity in Bangalore, India, holds a Ph.D. in Christian Philosophy and Apologetics (Ph.D.) from Trinity Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana, USA, and completed a postdoctoral program in Philosophy of Religion at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. His works include serving as Protestant clergy in a local Christian community, writer, professor at the Academy of the Portuguese Red Cross (Lisbon / Estoril) and researcher at the Center of Philosophy of the University of Lisbon, voluntary professor at the Faculty of Letters (UNIDAC) of the University of Lisbon (FLUL), researcher at the Institute of Contemporary Christianity (CICMER) of the Department of Religious Sciences of the Lusophone University. He is a member of the Portuguese Society of Philosophy, a member of the Poetas Del Mundo Movement, a member of the Academy of Letters and Arts of Portugal, member of the Academy of Letters and Lusophone Arts, member of the Brazilian Luminescence Academy and member of the Academy of Brazilian Poet. He worked in India, New Zealand, Norway and Brazil, which provided him with a significant cross-cultural experience. He lives in Cascais, Lisbon, with his family, has several works published in the areas of spirituality, theology, philosophy, poetry and participation in numerous anthologies with other writers.
