Dr. Manfred Baur (geb. 1959 in Marktoberdorf im Allgäu) studierte Chemie, Logik und Wissenschaftstheorie und promovierte im Fach Chemie. Danach war er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in der Halbleiterentwicklung tätig. Seit 1993 ist er Dokumentarfilmer und Wissenschaftsjournalist mit den Schwerpunkten Naturwissenschaft, Technik und Geschichte. Dr. Manfred Baur ist Vater von zwei Kindern.
