It can also affect the chemical balance of the body and also cause headaches, nausea and a general feeling of uneasiness. Errors in motor performance, visual perception, and size and distance evaluation are other harmful effects of noise. In certain cases, it may even induce psychosis and acute mental agony. Therefore, it is imperative that systematic studies be conducted on all aspects of Noise which affect humans. This study aims to address the effects of noise emanating from vehicles moving on highways.

He has done his Masters from IIT Roorkee, with specialization in Machine Design, where the subject of Noise has been the focus of his research. He has received his Doctorate in Materials Tribology and his current research is on bio-materials.
