This book is coming from Project I Asia Vision in U.S. Foreign Policy of IKUPD PROJECT: U.S. Security Strategy to Asia. This project focuses on how the U.S. should strategically recover its influence and power in this area. Nuclear and security issues and the U.S. role to control regional powers will be focused on. Each chapter is mainly composed with papers that I presented at the political science conference, such as IPSA, APSA, MPSA, Dupont Summit, and so on. Nuclear potential as the utmost proof advanced military techniques in Asia has been challenged the U.S. security strategy to Asia that the U.S. should effectively manage the uprising atmosphere and such a vivid symptom to overwhelm U.S. power in Asia. Especially, Northeast Asia is the right place to reveal major power's military ventures where China and Russia are still dreaming of world power. Therefore, this book is striving to find out effective U.S. policy how to keep up its influence and role in Asia through the maincountries' ventures and such relationships as regional powers, such as China, Russia, Japan, and Korea.

Lee, SunnySunny Lee is a Founder and Director of IKUPD (Institute for Korea-US Political Development) since 2004 and published book, Human Rights: Armed Conflicts (co-authors) by Amicus Books, 2008 and Global Security: Flexibility, Issues and the Thin Lines on the War Against Terrorism (co-authors) by Ambivium Press, 2012. She studied at Harvard.
