Since 25 August 2017, the fastest growing Rohingya refugee camps represents an increasing enormous concern on host community in Ukhiya and Teknaf sub-districts of Cox's Bazar district in Bangladesh, which is mostly forests, hills including protected reserved forest. Approximate 1 million influx with vast expansion of camps, host communities have become a minority in and around Cox's Bazar. The objective of the book is to assess how refugee camps' presence has affected the social and economic situation of the host. An exploratory research technique used in this research after five months of mass influx. The impacts have mostly been in terms of their economic well-being, which has resulted in terrible economic insecurity. Food sources as own agricultural production has sharply decreased, and increased buying food from market. Daily food and non-food essentials has soared at local market since massive influx despite humanitarian assistance. Prices hike of all commodities that increased food and non-food cost. Income sources as sale cash crops and livestock decreased significantly with reduced daily wage labor opportunity as Rohingya people took placed labour market with low wage rate.
