Under the present Cameroonian system, liability for defective products is essentially negligence based, although the author has endeavoured to investigate the extent to which contract law may assist a victim of product injury. The book equally provides a thorough rationalisation of strict liability regime and argues that the correct negligence based system in Cameroon is neither justifiable nor sustainable in view of the prevailing socio-economic dynamics.
