This work is the study on CAN Bus signals of a hybrid car. The motivation for this project is to develop an offline tool for engineers that will allow them to study CAN messages and conduct research at their convenience. Presently, the problem that engineers face in a company is regarding the availability of the car. Usually the car is available for a limited time, which gives engineers a very narrow time window to carry out their analysis on the car. Moreover, if the .dbc (Data Base CAN file) is missing then it becomes even more tedious for an engineer to do his job. The tool in this thesis will help the engineer in analyzing the recorded data and to recognize the pattern of CAN signals.
