The existence and impact of food insecurity problem is severe in Ethiopia. Following this, policy makers, governmental and nongovernmental organizations have focused on the need to improve the resilience of affected communities. The ability to measure and identify determinants of household's resilience to food insecurity is a major milestone to achieving this. The purpose of this work was to identify the degree of association between capacity related issues of the household and food insecurity shocks practiced, the dimensions of household resilience to food insecurity, the level of resilience to food insecurity and its determinants. The study was conducted in 2014 at Libokemkem woreda of Amhara national regional state in Ethiopia by using primary and secondary data.
