Autoren-Porträt von Debra McGregor, Lesley Cartwright
Dr Deb McGregor is Reader in Developing Pedagogy and Educational Doctorate Award Leader. She has been involved in teaching over twenty years, and has worked in varied roles as student teacher, mentor, teacher educator and researcher. Her research interests are focussed on thinking skills and the nature of learning and teaching.Lesley Cartwright began her career as a modern languages teacher and was until recently Secondary Partnership Director, Initial Teacher Education, at the University of Wolverhampton. As well as her role in training teachers, she has taught on the MA in Education with a specific focus on mentoring and coaching. She has played a key role in academic and curriculum development for ITE at the University of Wolverhampton, where the underpinning principles include a strong emphasis on informed reflective practice. Currently an education consultant, she works actively to support the professional growth of both trainee teachers and their mentors.
