On the other hand, the designing and synthesis of new imine molecules with colorimetric or chemosensor, which is eco-friendly, non-harmful and highly sensitive and selective towards metals, are currently of great attention. Imine ligands played an influencing role in development of coordination chemistry and were involved as key point in the development of inorganic biochemistry and optical materials. They find applications as biocidal agent, chemosensors, fluorescent materials, dyes and corrosion inhibitors.
