As well, it is described the status of infant and young child feeding globally and the rates of the mortality in children under-5 because of under-nutrition in the world and in some countries in Eastern Mediterranean Sea region. They defined the BFHI (Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative with its ten steps of successful breastfeeding which is presented in the joint of WHO/UNICEF statement.
