Globally, inflationary pressures have actually become a pervasive and socio-economic problem based on the distortions it can exert on the growth of any economy.In recent times, the Nigerian economy has witnessed a persistent upward trend and volatility in her domestic price level while her performance in terms of economic growth has been characterized by fits and starts.Nigeria as a developing nation is desirous to become an advanced country by year 2020 through innovative investments, among others.
