According to Gwaradzimba and Shumba (2010) achieving educational goals and providing quality basic education largely depends on the important role facilitators' play in deciding the value of the education students receive in schools. The main goal of this book is to bring into light the nature of instructional supervision on teaching and learning at the Lutheran Schools in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. The book brings out a research study which focuses on types of instructional supervision and its effect on teaching and learning. The mixed-method research design, qualitative and quantitative, was used. Meanwhile, descriptive and analytical research method was also used. The main research instrument used was questionnaires. The findings of the study indicated that both internal and external supervision are practiced in the Lutheran Schools.

Brako, KojoKojo Brako is currently the Head of School of All Saints Lutheran School located at Anyaa, a suburb of Greater Accra region of Ghana. He has been in the field of education for the past twenty years and headed more than three different schools during his educational journey. He holds a Master of Education from Kwame Nkrumah Science and Technology.
