Including examples of different biofloc and recirculation aquaculture (RAS) shrimp farming systems used in Asia in the last two decades, including some of the projects I have personally been involved with and provided technical expertise, as well as some perspectives on these technologies. Large integrated shrimp farms in Indonesia: PT Dipasena Citra Darmaja and PT Central Pertiwi Bahari in Lampung, South Sumatra, and PT Sekar Abadi Jaya in West Sumbawa and in Malaysia: Blue Archipelago Bhd projects - Arca Biru Sdn in Kedah and the iSHARP project in Terengganu.
