Oral health has long been considered to be an important aspect of overall, general health. Oral health knowledge acquired by a subject is the basis that leads to proper oral health behaviour. Attitudes towards oral health determine the oral health of an individual. Oral health is the mirror of general health, it enables an individual to smile, speak, eat, swallow, taste, smell, touch and socialise without active disease, discomfort or embarrassment and which contributes to general well-being as wellHowever, the oral disease still continues to be one of the most prevalent problems affecting the overall wellbeing of the world's population. The purpose of the study was to assess the level of oral health, the relationship between oral infections and systemic diseases knowledge and oral health behaviours and attitudes of the medical and nursing graduates in relation to their oral health status and their practices towards their patients. This book, therefore, provides a guide for the development of educational intervention programs and oral health promotion campaigns aimed at changing attitude and practices toward oral health among health personnel.
