In Hungary, Dániel wasmentored in her teaching by Jenö Adám, who wrote whatcame to be known in the United States as the KodályMethod. Dániel developed a music curriculum based onthe Kodály concept that is still in use today. Thisbook relates the history of the music methodologyfrom it's beginnings in Hungary as conceived byZoltán Kodály and then adapted for use in the UnitedStates by Katina Dániel. The methodology is describedin detail with references to the interest generatedthrough Dániel's materials and presentations. Bonnin is Associate Professor of Music Education atthe University of Montana Western, Dillon and administers themusic education program in addition to directing the Choir andVocal Ensemble.
