So that it is called to be a glucose deprivation mimic drug with a chemo- preventive and chemo- therapeutic effects. The calorie restriction effect of resveratrol is the deriving force for the enhanced cytotoxicity and apoptosis and the reduced angiogeneis of colorectal cancer cells.
