The directions of contractual regulation of the relations connected to works performance have been theoretically generalized on the basis of the provisions of applicable legislation. The system of contracts mediating the obligations related to performance of works has been characterized, the criteria for differentiation of contract agreements and other contractual constructions have been determined. The general signs that unite all contracting contractual obligations in the contractual type in view of performance of works have been determined and basic contracts for the performance of works have been analyzed in detail. The proposals pertaining to improvement of applicable legislation and practice of its application have been set forth. For a wide circle of specialists in contract law, in general, and contract agreements, in particular: academics, postgraduates, lawyers, notaries and anyone interested in the relevant issues of contractual law.
