They also need individualized patient education to enhance their independence and empower them towards a new and progressive lifestyle. Healthcare professionals need to assess existential well-being of patients in rehabilitation by the means of skilful interpersonal relationship based on each patient's own hierarchy of needs. Listening to patients' voices can be a powerful tool for healthcare professionals who are looking for ways to providing better services.
