Therefore there's a need to combine empirical knowledge about the popular use of medicinal plants with scientific research based on detailed studies of the plant species, as well as botanical, phytochemical, pharmacological, toxicological aspects, and the development of scientific and technological methodologies. The result of this scientific breakthrough is the development of a differential therapeutic herbal product, as unlike the traditional preparations obtained from plants in folk medicine, the scientific and technological grounding provide the development of herbal medicine.
