This work will make a shad light on one of the most vital issues in this field which is variable stars and Binary systems. A general outline of its history has been introduced by the author. The different techniques of its optical observations have been also presented. This followed by a detailed discussion of three systems observed using CCD camera attached with Kottamia Astronomical Observatory.

Darwish, Mohamed SaidM. S. Darwish is an assistant researcher at national research institute of Astronomy and Geophysics. He graduated from Al Azhar University faculty of science Dep. of Astronomy and meteorology 2008. He did his M.Sc. in Astrophysics at Al Azhar University by 2015. His current interest during PhD. is to study the MASER emission from high star forming regions at radio.
