This edition has been revised to cover new developments in drug therapy and research and includes some 300 new references. Sections on the effects of drugs on memory and other cognitive functions, and the psychopharmacology of schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease, have been entirely rewritten to include important developments in theory and treatment strategies.
