Targeted moieties can be formulated into the form of topical preparations like gel, hydrogl, cream, lotions etc for application at the desired site. The book presented here highlights the concept of developing targeted drug delivery system, assessing its potential through cell lines, developing them into an acceptable skin formulation and evaluating its in vivo potentiality in treating skin complications.
