Medical curriculum in India is in the process of a revolutionary change. It is evident that the curricular planners are are aware of the lacunae in the older curriculum are attempting to develope a curriculum that is inclusive of soft skills like ethics, professionalism, communicationa and critical thiking. This monograph attempts to understand the current medical curriculum & critical thinking as a skill, identify the gaps in the curriculum and explore the possibility of incorporating better evidence-based methods of teaching critical thinking.
