Autoren-Porträt
Carsten Wartmann ist Diplom-Ingenieur für Bioverfahrenstechnik und arbeitet heute als freiberuflicher Autor, Dozent und 3D-Grafiker. Seit Beginn der 80er Jahre beschäftigt er sich intensiv mit Computern und deren Programmierung --anfangs mit einem VC-20 von Commodore -sowie speziell mit Computergrafik. Der Amiga ermöglichte ihm dann die Erzeugung erster Animationen. Während des Studiums war er an der Produktion der meisten Animationen der Berliner Firma "imago viva" beteiligt. Hier kam er auch mit dem 3D-Programm Blender in Kontakt, über das er bisher zahlreiche Vorträge hielt und Artikel in Fachzeitschriften veröffentlichte.
