Given the global population of 9.6 billion by 2050, the issue of rational use of available agrarian resources is becoming increasingly important in providing them with quality food. Profitability of cotton production in the world has remained unchanged over the last few years. Global climate change, negative environmental factors for cotton production - excessive rainfall during the sowing season, rising temperature during flowering, declining soil fertility, increasing the number of pests and diseases, and lack of resources for agrotechnical resources. In this regard, measures should be taken to address these problems in the cotton industry, to increase the efficiency of the use of resources in the cotton industry, and to introduce innovative, resource-saving technologies in the industry.

Rashidov, RaxmatulloRashidov Rahmatullo was born on January 24, 1984 in the Namangan region of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2008 he graduated from the Namangan Institute of Engineering Economics with a master's degree. In 2020, he defended his dissertation and received his PhD. He is currently the head of the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology.
