In a time between war and peace she grows up to be the responsible mother of her country. Bertha von Suttner (1843-1914) her book "Die Waffen nieder" makes her immediately famous. Her tireless peace work is honoured with the Nobel Peace Prize in 1905. Selma Peppel (1895-1946) The Königsberg teacher's wife starves to death on 12.02.1946.
