High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Yann Barthès (born October 9, 1974 in Chambéry, Savoie) is a French journalist, best known for presenting Le Petit Journal, a segment of the TV show Le Grand Journal hosted by Michel Denisot on the channel Canal+. After studying English and then Communication in Bordeaux, he became a journalist in 2002 on the show + clair, a weekly program dealing with media issues, which aired Saturdays from 12.40 to 1.50 pm on Canal +. In 2004, he joined Le Grand Journal's crew, where he presents, each evening, Le Petit Journal People (The Little News Report - People). Since 2007, he has also presented Le Petit Journal Actu (The Little News Report - Current Events). Both segments present the news of the day with a sarcastic and humorous twist. Anyone is a potential target: businessmen, politicians, actors, singers, models, artists, writers. During the 2008 United States presidential campaign, Yann Barthès and his Le Petit Journal crew created a buzz on the internet when they installed themselves, along with several joking banners, clearly visible in the background of a "very serious" American show filmed in New York City.
