This book is a guide to a quick understanding of the Case Laws pertaining to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 under the Limited Insolvency Examination syllabus effective from 1st July 2019. The book provides case analysis of 59 cases in a simplified manner followed by summary of cases in a tabular format for easy and better recall. The revisionary exercises will help aspirants to remember case laws with reference to the issues and the decisions therein. The book contains Multiple Choice Questions based on the case analysis specially designed for preparing to give the Limited Insolvency Examination. The book also contains 10 practice exams at the end to reinforce the aspirant's knowledge and help crack the examination. Based on the feedback received from aspirants, the book also contains a tabular presentation of section-wise reference of cases and vice versa.
Autoren-Porträt von Ashish Makhija
Ashish Makhija bears top credentials in corporate law, insolvency and bankruptcy law, corporate litigation and advisory. He has served as the Standing Counsel for the Official Liquidator, attached to High Court of Delhi. He serves as Adjunct Faculty for the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, under Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, since January, 2019. He has also served as the Adjunct Professor at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego, California, USA in 2013-14. He serves as a member of Monitoring Group of ICSI Institute of Insolvency Professionals. He also serves as a member of the Board of Advisors, Amity International Journal of Juridical Sciences (AIJJS), Amity Law School, Noida, UP, India. He is on the Advisory Board of IP Foundation, a trust to facilitate and address issues in the field of Insolvency.
He has several books to his credit on the subject of Insolvency Law and Corporate law.
