It has been 65 years of glorious history since the founding of the China Democratic National Construction Association. In past 65 years, the China Democratic National Construction Association actively join the revolution, construction and reform of China together with the Communist Party of China, making an indelible historical contribution to the birth of new China, socialist revolution and construction, reform deepening, promotion of development and maintaining of stability. In order to let all members of the association understand the history of association, inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of the Communist Party, and better meet the new challenges and opportunities to constantly push forward the career, based on the History of the China Democratic National Construction Association (2000 Edition), the central committee compiled the Brief History of the China Democratic National Construction Association, which will be published on the 65th anniversary of the foundation of the association. The preparation and establishment of the China Democratic National Construction Association was at the critical time when the Chinese nation faced two future and fates after the victory of the war against the Japanese invasion. In order to unite for rescue and strive for a bright future, a group of patriotic nationalists, businessmen and intellectuals established the China Democratic National Construction Association on December16, 1945. At the very beginning of its founding, the China Democratic National Construction Association took democracy and construction as the purpose and proposed the promotion of democracy and fight against dictatorship, strive for peace and fight against civil war, requesting construction and opposing sabotage.
