Produktinformationen zu „Brothers (ePub)“
"BROTHERS," are the common observations made on the author's travels and visits to cities in North America; Hawaii; Alaska; Canada; Central American; Korea; Germany; and the Caribbean, by a person of color. It provides a perspective of the black community, to include unemployment; poverty; welfare; the black musical experience; and a point of view concerning the Anti-black racism that has been present in this country since its founding. It provides commentary concerning the fact that black people were forcibly brought to this country; however, when asked the questions "who belongs in this nation?" and "to whom does this nation belong?"America's answer has been consistently, and overwhelmingly - white people, even though we are one humanity, and the USA is still just one people, which has caused black people, and others communities, to continually march and protest to bring visibility to this injustice.
