There are many lessons I have learned in my nearly three decades in business. Most of them come from the balancing act of being a dedicated husband and father, while simultaneously climbing the corporate ladder to positions such as general manager and marketing officer in Fortune 100 companies, living in five different countries, and interacting with multiple cultures for work as well as pleasure. It wasn't always smooth, but it has been a continuing process of adjusting and living my life in a manner increasingly consistent with my personal mission statement.

In this book, I am grouping my life philosophy into three broad steps:

. Step 1: Be 100% accountable for your life.

. Step 2: Develop your personal mission statement.

. Step 3: Live your personal mission 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This is not a book about religion, as the "Apostolate" title may imply, although I will highlight the benefits of continually feeding your soul. It is also not a one-size-fits-all program, but rather a list of insights from which you can extract what you find most applicable to you. Nor is it a quick-fix to produce life-changing results overnight, yet it will hopefully entice you to get started while you are still reading the book.
