Gordon J. Voisin was raised in Dulac, a tiny fishing community in southern Louisiana. He attended Nicholls State University and earned a degree in psychology. He is a former winner of the state poetry contest and has had three of his short stories published in the local newspaper. A Vietnam veteran, he continues to live in Louisiana.
