All of them are excellent, cultured and look forward to displaying skills to the full contributions in the national economic construction. However, in ten years after the beginning of the anti rightist movement in 1957, their character a little bit emaciated, their pride died out little by little, their conscience was forced into the dead corner of the soul and they were wiped out in pride. Not only the Three Gorges project, which they aspire to devote themselves to, is far away and not within the foreseeable future, they themselves had long lost their charm and were in a state of gloomy mood.
