Produktinformationen zu „Developmental Toxicology (PDF)“
Reflecting the numerous changes in the field since the publication of the previous edition, this third edition of Developmental Toxicology focuses on the mechanisms of developmental toxicity and incorporates current technologies for testing in the risk assessment process. It examines the role of computer modeling and bioinformatics, exploring how these areas can contribute to further understanding the overall process of development. The text also provides complete coverage of such topics as the role of apoptosis, cell-to-cell interactions, the importance of signal transduction, the use of stem cells and zebra fish, as well as whole animal toxicity testing systems.
