Worked with and is part of the First (pioneer) International Working Group on EBM established at McMaster. A regular faculty at the world renowned Annual Workshop on 'How to Teach Evidence-Based Clinical Practice' held at McMaster University, Canada. Scientific Director of the Gulf Reference Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine at the College of Medicine & Medical Sciences, the Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain; designated as such by the Ministers of Health of Gulf countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen).
