Living in Gowanus projects in Brooklyn, she struggles day by day to keep both she and her daughter above water. One night at the club while in a altercation with her baby father, she meets Milli and things take a change. While Kelsie doesn't want a relationship because she's the type to throw herself fully in, Milli is cool with dating, plus seeing other people.
