Growing up in a small village in the Central province of Kenya, Leah spent her childhood working on the farm whenever schools were out.She moved to Birmingham, Alabama, in 1996 to attend college, and she graduated from Birmingham School of Law in 2011.
She is an active member of the Kenyan Community in Alabama and serves on the Board of Jesus Harvesters Ministry. She is also a practicing attorney and lives in Birmingham with her husband and three sons.
