Produktinformationen zu „Ice and a Curious Man (PDF)“
Just North of Dillingham, Alaska lives a reclusive poet named Shane Helnsley. Nobody knows what he is about or even what he looks like. The rumors about him are rampant and really quite revolting, but his works are considered masterpieces and are sought after by the public.
Marren Lang is the writer hired by Helnsley to interview him -- an unpleasant task.
What Lang encounters in Alaska is the last thing she could have ever expected. The warnings about the old toothless pervert who lives like a savage are the least of her worries. Within hours of her arrival on the new landscape she learns she has much more to contend with. Helnsley teaches Lang to rudely stare down her own demons and face truths that are rarely respected when numbed by civilized society.
Ice and a Curious Man melts selfishness down to an unthreatening puddle and bravely shouts that no book can ever be judged by its cover.

Autoren-Porträt von Renée Angers
Renée Angers was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, a small town outside Toronto. After re-locating as many times as there are years in her life, she finds a comfortable permanent home in her writing. Her stories and characters, although fictional, are inspired from the many interesting and provocative personalities she has run into during her previous career as a musician.Since expanding her creativity into writing, Angers has worked for several information sources and magazines such as Upfront--a local entertainment periodical, as well as being the founder and Editor in Chief of the controversial literary e-zine, New Graffiti, which is sadly no longer in circulation.
Now, focusing her career entirely on her novels, Angers is the author of 4 published books and is working on a screenplay/project with a local film maker.
