Three times nominated for the Pushcart Prize and recipient of other writing awards, Madonna Dries Christensen lives beside Worlud Pond in Sarasota, Florida, with her husband, Gary Christensen. She was born in 1935 on a farm near Ashton, Iowa, and grew up in Sibley, Iowa, the county seat for Osceola County. Madonna is Editor/Publisher of Doorways magazine; a columnist for Extra Innings, and Contributing Editor to Yesterdays Magazette and Writers Magazette. Her previous books are: Swinging Sisters; Masquerade: The Swindler Who Conned J. Edgar Hoover; The Quiet Warrior; Dolls Remembered, and Toys Remembered.
