Lincoln H. Forbes, PhD, PE, CM-Lean, specializes in Lean Project Delivery and lean management systems. A professional engineer, he has over 35 years' experience in quality/performance improvement as well as facilities design and construction management support. Dr. Forbes is a member of the Lean Construction Institute (LCI) and the International Group for Lean Construction (IGLC). He holds the CM-Lean credential from the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). He is a fellow of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), and is the founder and past president of their Construction Division. A senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), he also holds the LEED AP designation. He held senior facilities-related positions with Miami-Dade County Public Schools earlier in his career. Dr. Forbes has also served in adjunct positions in construction management programs at East Carolina University, Florida International University, and Drexel University. He is a principal consultant for Harding Associates, Inc. in Miami, Florida. He holds PhD, MBA, and MSIE degrees from the University of Miami.
