Autoren-Porträt von Holiday Shapero
Author Bio:Through the mysterious workings of Fate, as it were, Holiday Shapero has reaped the great fortune to be studying ancient Greek Natal Astrology under teacher and translator, Robert Schmidt. Robert Schmidt is the creator of Project Hindsight (1992), designed to bring back to the world, the entire corpus of surviving works of the Hellenistic astrologers, beginning around 200 BCE.
Mr. Schmidt, with the assistance of his wife, Ellen Black, has researched and translated the primary sources in their original languages, Greek and Latin. Robert Schmidt made astrological history when he discovered that Eudoxus of Knidos, the celebrated Greek polymath who had close ties to Plato and the Platonic Academy, is the progenitor of the astrology that appeared in the Mediterranean around the second century BCE. This moved the origins of Western astrology back at least two hundred years.
Holidays intention is to integrate the Platonic metaphysical concepts and astrological delineations of the course into her present work, so that the Natal Astrology charts that she interprets, reflect the Greek Astrology of the ancient world.
